Thoughtfully Prepared for Your Celebration

Your wedding day should leave room for the moments you’ll actually remember.

The anticipation before the ceremony. Seeing each other for the first time. Sitting down to dinner surrounded by the people you love. A toast that makes everyone laugh. A quiet photograph on the porch before the evening ends.

At The Magnolia Inn, your wedding day is thoughtfully prepared so you can spend less time managing the details and more time enjoying them.

From ceremony setup and reception spaces to dining, service, and the natural flow between each part of the celebration, our team is here to help bring the day together.

Choose Your Ceremony Setting

Exchange vows in one of two intimate outdoor settings, each offering its own character and charm.

Couples may exchange vows in our private courtyard or beneath the covered wraparound porch, with each offering a beautiful backdrop for an intimate ceremony of up to 60 guests.

The Private Courtyard

Outdoor wedding ceremony setup with wooden chairs, white flowers, lanterns, and a draped arch beneath mature trees.

Surrounded by the historic inn and mature landscaping, the private courtyard creates a romantic outdoor setting for your entire wedding day.

Begin with your ceremony beneath the trees, then allow the space to transition naturally into your reception. Guests can enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while photographs are taken and the courtyard is prepared for dinner, toasts, cake, music, and dancing.

With everything happening in one place, the celebration feels connected from beginning to end.

The Covered Wraparound Porch

Outdoor wedding ceremony setup with rows of wooden chairs, a flower-lined aisle, and white draping across a historic wraparound porch.

For couples drawn to the architecture of the inn itself, the covered wraparound porch offers a distinctly Southern setting for exchanging vows.

The porch may be selected as your ceremony location from the beginning or incorporated into other parts of your celebration, giving guests another beautiful place to gather throughout the day.

With its sweeping views of the grounds and shelter overhead, it offers the feeling of an outdoor ceremony with the comfort of a covered setting.

Your Ceremony Includes

  • Ceremony accommodations for up to 40 guests
  • Ceremony seating
  • Wedding arch
  • Signature Magnolia Ceremony Décor
  • Setup and breakdown of included furnishings and décor
  • Magnolia wedding-day coordination
  • Welcome glass of Prosecco or Signature nonalcoholic beverage

Your Estate Wedding Day may be expanded to accommodate up to 60 ceremony guests.

One Place for the Whole Celebration

No shuttles. No changing venues. No losing part of your wedding day getting from one place to another.

At The Magnolia Inn, your ceremony and reception can unfold in the same beautiful setting.

Exchange Your Vows

Drinks & Hors d’Oeuvres

After the ceremony, guests can enjoy beer, wine, prosecco, hard cider, hard seltzer, nonalcoholic beverages, and light bites while photographs are taken and the celebration transitions into the evening.

One setting. One celebration. Your wedding day at The Magnolia Inn.

Your Four-Hour Reception

After “I do,” it’s time to celebrate.

Whether you envision dinner and dancing beneath the trees or an intimate reception inside the historic inn, your four-hour reception gives you time to gather for drinks, dinner, toasts, cake, music, and celebration.

Choose the setting that best fits your guest count and the way you want the evening to feel.

Courtyard Reception

Celebrate Beneath the Trees • Up to 60 Guests

For couples planning an outdoor celebration, the private courtyard becomes the heart of the wedding day.

After your ceremony, guests can enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres while photographs are taken and the courtyard transitions for the reception. Then everyone comes back together for dinner, toasts, cake, music, and dancing beneath the trees.

The wraparound porch and designated areas of the inn remain part of the experience, giving guests additional places to gather, talk, take photographs, and enjoy the property throughout the evening.

With room for celebrations of up to 60 guests, the courtyard gives you space for a complete wedding reception while keeping the atmosphere intimate and connected.

Ideal for: Outdoor weddings, larger guest counts, dinner beneath the trees, and couples who want their ceremony and reception centered around the courtyard.

Indoor Reception

Celebrate Inside the Historic Inn • Up to 40 Guests

For couples who prefer the warmth and character of the inn itself, an indoor reception offers an intimate way to celebrate.

Our historic parlors and dining spaces create a welcoming setting for dinner, drinks, toasts, cake, music, and time together, while the wraparound porch provides additional room for conversation, photographs, and fresh air throughout the evening.

The experience feels less like a traditional ballroom reception and more like a beautifully hosted dinner party in a historic home—with the people you love gathered close.

Ideal for: Intimate weddings, seated dining, smaller guest lists, and couples who love the interiors and residential character of The Magnolia Inn.

Included with Every Reception

Regardless of which reception setting you choose, your four-hour celebration includes:

Rain or Shine

Beautiful outdoor weddings deserve a thoughtful backup plan.

If inclement weather prevents us from using the courtyard, your ceremony will transition beneath the covered wraparound porch and your reception will move to a combination of the inn’s historic interior gathering spaces and covered porch.

Our team will prepare the alternate layout so your celebration can continue at The Magnolia Inn without requiring you or your guests to relocate to another venue.

We’ll review the weather plan with you in advance so you’ll know what to expect if Mother Nature has other plans.

Make It Your Own

Every wedding has its own personality.

Depending on your plans, your Wedding Day Experience may be personalized with enhancements such as:

  • Additional early access
  • Floral arrangements
  • Enhanced tablescapes and décor
  • Photography and videography
  • Wedding cake or dessert enhancements
  • Personalized signage and stationery
  • Guest favors
  • Additional food and beverage selections
  • Getaway send-off details

We’ll help you choose the additions that make sense for your celebration without adding things you don’t need.

Intimate Without Feeling Small

Not every couple dreams of a ballroom filled with hundreds of guests.

The Magnolia Inn is designed for couples who want a wedding that feels intimate without feeling small.

With celebrations of up to 60 guests, you can surround yourself with the people who matter most while still enjoying a beautiful ceremony, dinner, drinks, music, dancing, photographs, and the traditions that make the day feel like a wedding.

And because everything happens in one place, there’s more time to actually experience it.

Time to talk to your guests. Time to sit down and enjoy dinner. Time for photographs without disappearing from your own reception. And time to take in the day you’ve spent so long planning.
