There’s Always Something Happening at The Magnolia Inn
There is always another reason to visit The Magnolia Inn.
Throughout the year, our historic inn welcomes neighbors, guests, and visitors for experiences that bring people together — from afternoon tea and live music to seasonal gatherings, workshops, classes, and special events in downtown Clayton.
Whether you are discovering the inn for the first time or returning for a favorite tradition, our community events offer a warm and memorable way to experience The Magnolia Inn again and again.
Our featured experiences are designed with the details that make a gathering feel worth remembering: thoughtful hospitality, beautiful surroundings, time around the table, and moments guests look forward to returning for. Whether it’s a seasonal tea, an evening of live music, or a special community gathering, each event is created to feel warm, personal, and distinctly Magnolia.
Monthly Afternoon Tea at The Magnolia Inn
Celebrate in style with a posh 75-minute seated afternoon tea in the historic parlors of The Magnolia Inn. Enjoy classic teas, savory tea sandwiches and seasonal bites, freshly baked scones with accompaniments and petite desserts, all beautifully served on traditional tiered stands.
This is a recurring event held the last Sunday of every month. We also host specialty themed and private tea parties, inquire today to learn more.
“I came for Afternoon Tea with a friend and didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The room was beautiful, the tea service felt special without being too formal, and everyone we met was so kind. It felt like a lovely local tradition we’d want to come back to.”
