Tucked into the heart of downtown Clayton is a gracious, 130-year old Queen Anne Victorian manor, one of the oldest structures remaining in Clayton, which now serves as an elegant Bed and Breakfast. As the newly-opened Magnolia Inn approaches its one-year anniversary, I sat down with owner Jordan Robinson to talk about her journey, what’s in store for 2026, and why the Magnolia Inn is quickly becoming one of Clayton’s most beloved destinations.

Jordan Robinson, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former federal agent, is helping shape Clayton’s growing hospitality scene through The Magnolia Inn. Since opening the historic property as a boutique bed and breakfast, she has earned regional recognition, attracted visitors to the area, and created a space that supports community connection, local business, and tourism.
